Mutianyu tour

Hi guys, I am landing to Beijing airport at 7:15am. Checked that most tours depart from Beijing city at 8am. Possible to check if there are tours that depart later?

You don't need a tour to the Great Wall, you just need transportation. And Mutianyu is in the same general area as the airport so going to the city would need doubling your transportation time.

I guess I have to get to the city to drop my bag first? I am alone so it is a bit difficult.

If you organize a driver to pick you up at the airport, you leave your stuff in the car. He can bring you down town when finished.

Hi Mixue, it depends on where you live.

If you live close to Dongzhimen or Sanyuanqiao, it is ok to drop your suitcase in the hotel because you can take the airport subway easily.

And from Dongzhimen, you could take bus 916 arriving at Huairou Beidajie and then transfer another bus directly to Mutianyu.

But from my point of view, taking a bus will take a lot of time.

It's better for using Didi for sharing a car.

Simon is a very safe driver and great conversationalist. We used him in March to take us to Mutianyu

didi, doable, if you could stand at the right place to be easy picked up .

whatever, if you could combine the airport pick up or drop off with mutianyu trip, it would be more cheap and efficient.
