Still looking for a great tour guide in Beijing

I've tried the two with the highest recommendations, Qing and John but neither are available when we are in Beijing. Does anyone have any other tour guides they loved?

Thanks so much!

Try Sophia (quding1716@yahoo.com.cn). I used her yesterday and I was quite happy. She'll spend the day with your for 400 RMB. Yesterday I met her at 9am and we parted ways around 5pm. We went to the Summer Palace, Tianenman Square, and the Temple of Heaven. She recommended a nice local restaurant for lunch that cost about 100RMB. Her English is quite strong as she studied for two years at University.

There's a search box right above ^. Just put in Beijing guide and you'll see posts with different names and info. Or just wait 24 hours and the guides will find you via PM's!

Why not try to search on the forum of this site and type "private tour guide" and then you will find a couple of tour guides's information. I am sure you will find a good one.

Catherine Lu was my guide for a long weekend in Beijing in March. I recommend her to anyone who wants to make the best of a short trip to Beijing, and/or get off the beaten path.
