Renaissance Harbour View

Hi all,

I'm looking for a place to have breakfast nearby Renaissance Harbour View. Their breakfast is just way pricey and I'm looking for a nice place to have the first and most important meal of the day :). Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Kind regards,

Â.

Lots of places to eat in the vicinity. If you walk over the footbridge towards the ferry pier and bus terminal, at Great Eagle Centre and Harbour Centre you will find several coffee shops (Starbucks, Pacific Coffee, etc.) and a Cafe de Coral which serves breakfast. Sun Hung Kei Centre, a couple of buildings over, has a MacDonalds and Olivers Sandwich. They are all accessible on the elevated walkway level.

In the other direction, if you walk towards Wanchai MTR station on the elevated walkway, after passing through Central Plaza and across Gloucester Road (a multi-lane highway), you will again find Starbucks and Pacific Coffee, as well as Habitu Coffee, Olivers Sandwich and Delifrance (pastries and sandwiches) on street level. A MacDonalds and Cafe de Coral is on footbridge level. Other local eateries and cafes dot the streets around Lockhart Road and Jaffe Road below the footbridge.

Breakfast can be had at these places anywhere from $20 to $40.

Since Renaissance Harbour View is a 5-star hotel, expect buffet breakfast to cost around $200. A la carte will probably cost $100 to $150 depending on what items you order.

There are plenty of places for breakfast nearby. Just walk to the other buildings, particularly towards Sun Hung Kei Centre to the east. There are many cafes, restaurants, Starbucks, Pacific Coffee, McDonald's within those office buildings.

Those $20 to $40 are Hong Kong dollars, right?

The Grand Hyatt next door should also have excellent breakfast selections.

Hi Angelo,

That's $20 to $40 HK dollars. Sorry if it confused you.

I can recommend the Harour View Sunday buffet brunch though! Runs from 11.30 or 12 to 2.30 and has a large choice and is about HK$175 including unlimited tea/coffee and service. A good deal!
