Just put $200 initially. If it runs low you can always pop into the MTR or a convenience store to top up.

Hi, when you buy the Octopus card, there is already HKD100 stored value,so even another HKD100 should suffice for your two nights.

In this way, you already have HKD200 to start off.

As advised, there are always convenience stores, such as 7-11,or Circle K and also at every MTR stations, where reload can be effected. Well, when you are at the Peak, you can also reload,if say after using it for the PEak Tram, you feel you need to top-up,at the Park "n' Shop supermarket in Peak Galleria.

Even when you take the ferry across to Avenue of Stars, you can top up at First Ferry office in Central Pier 5/6.
