Weather early September in HK?

Hello,

I was planning to have a 3 week trip Beijing to HK from Sept 18th through Oct 11.

I am now considering a reverse trip (HK to Beijing) from Sept 3rd through 23rd.

However I noticed that precipitations in Sept are more than double the OCtober precipitations. What should I expect for 4 days in HK early Sert?

Thanks!

Expect it to be very humid with a small chance of typhoons.

Thanks. Should I expect lots of rain? And would it be showers that pass quickly or rain in HK can last for a few hours? I don't mind the former but not crazy about spending half of my 4 days in the hotel room.

There might be no rain at all during your four days or just quick showers or rain for hours in all or some of your four days, depends on your luck.
