Just checking which is the biggest H & M in Hong Kong now that Queens Road has shut down. Thanks

The store at Silvercord on Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui is the largest and is now H & M's "Flagship Store" in HK since the store at Queen's Road Central closed.

Oh no, H&M Central was one of our favourites. We were just there last July and it was always busy. Am surprised they closed it down. :-(

It closed because the landlords wanted to double the rent. Zara is moving into the Queen's Road Central premises previously occupied by H & M and closing its IFC Mall store.

Wow, they can double the rent?!! Is there no rent control in HK? Can any landlord double their tenant's rent?

Hong Kong is a capitalist heaven. No rent control. After the rental contract expires, the landlord can increase the rent as much as he wishes.
