A couple travel with two children

Hi there, I have difficulty in finding a budget hotel which can accommodate two adults and two children age 6& 10 in one room. Just wish I can get some advise from you people. Thank you.

What's your budget range? Difficult to give ideas without knowing what 'budget' means to you.

Can take a look at: Caritas Bianchi Lodge Hotel, Y-Loft, Dragon Hostel (if you're okay with hostels), etc.

Plenty more, but just depends what your budget range is per night.

I will be happy if I can get a hotel room which can accommodate four us between HKD 800-1000. I will be there from 23rd March - 28th March2014. Thanks

andrewchengyc,

Your endeavour to find accommodations for 4 in that price range might be challenging. Best to have a look at some accommodation search engines that specialise in cheap and budget accommodations like www.hostels.com , www.hostelbookers.com and www.hostelworld.com . www.booking.com also carries some lower end (cheaper) accommodations so this might be worth a look as well.

Ok Thanks. But do hotels usually strict on the max numbers of pax in a room, even we are willing to squeeze in a room ? Thank you.

Have you looked into Ovolo Hotels? I've not stayed there yet (will be staying there in a few weeks) but they do have larger family rooms that can accommodate the number of people in your family (and even more, like in my family). I'm not sure of the rates because I don't know your dates, but worth taking a look, at least based on Tripadvisor ratings and reviews I've seen.

We stayed in Mini Hotel Causeway Bay. We're a family of 5, and they had a room which would sleep all of us (2 double beds and a single). We got a good price by booking on their website quite a way in advance - because it was matched up with our flights we were ok about this as we wouldn't be changing the flights). The only downside was no breakfast, but I believe it was available (we just didn't know about it until check out). There's also a Starbucks across the road. It's just a 5 minute walk from the CWB MTR, so really well located for getting to sights in both Kowloon and HK Island. Our room cost us just under $250 NZ per night.
