Fast-ER, as compared to what? Taxi is faster than MTR. Taxi to Lok Ma Chau. Cross the border.

the true best shopping in Hong Kong lah.

Even the folks in China Mainland knows it..they even come to get Yakult, shampoo, cosmetics, luncheon meat..haha because they worry even the Lacoste they buy at high price in Shenzhen is AAA grade one.

You can take the East Rail line to Lok Ma Chau or Lo Wu.

I've never been to Lok Ma Chau but have been to Lo Wu/Shenzhen, plenty of places to shop either in the same building/place as the station (after immigration) beware there are lots of copies/fake goods on sale there.

You could go to the city center, lots of shopping malls, large supermarkets and indoor flea markets.

International branded goods such as beauty/cosmetics, clothes, electronics, etc are not cheaper but local and non branded goods are cheap.

If you are staying for a couple of days in the mainland, you could get something like a silk/linen dress/suit made to measure.

Same question about two days ago. Check that thread. Other and myself gave answers. Still it will depend on what you are looking for. Electronics? Handbags? Bread?
