5 day visa for Shenzhen from Lo Wu border

Does anyone know whether UK passport holders are currently (July 2014) being allowed to Shenzhen under 5 day visa scheme at the border from Hong Kong? Thank you.

The Shenzhen visa on arrival was certainly available to UK passport holders at Lo Wu in April and I haven't heard anything different since. It costs RMB304.

i did it today. please note the rules are changing all the time and you need to check the latest information depending on which country you hold a passport for and residency as well

i am a british passport holder and came to hong kong.

and wanted to go to shenzhen for 2 days

i went to lowu on the train and as you come out of the train part

there is a sign that says port visa and you go up the escalators

you fill in a small form and pay 304 rmb but there is a money exchange next to the office (not sure if its a good rate)

they would not accept hong kong dollars

it takes 10 minutes maximum

when you come downstairs you need to fill another yellow form before you go to chinese immigration

visa is for shenzhen and 5 days only a single entry and exit only
