Should I book the Rhombus for our honeymoon stay?

Dear HK Experts

The Rhombus and their Executive Club Harbourview Suite is on our short list for a few days stay during our honeymoon. Noticed they did not have pool but its not the most important.

Is there any hotel I have missed out for about the same price rage around 2500 HKD per night

Thanks again for your input.

Hello,

That price range over which dates? Is this a continuation or the return leg of your Australian trip?

Fantastic Marco.

Just a real quick snapshot.

The rooms at Panorama by Rhombus are really small.

Depending on the dates of your travel, my first choice around that budget would be Hotel ICON. Their ICON 36 King Harbour View is sensational. Also the Deluxe King is available at InterContinental Hong Kong around your budget, and the room is more than double the size of the Rhombus, also the Harbourview King at Hyatt Regency also quite a nice property.

It would come down to how important the club access is to you.

Thanks, the executive room is around 580 square ft. Also been told that the location is good of the hotel.

Heard its a nice perk the club access.

When we stayed at Hyatt in Tokyo we did not have club access but we enjoyed the hotel, sort of had the wow factor.

For the ICON I noticed the harbour view is more expensive. The City view is about the same.

The intercontinental is about the same, harbour view with breakfast is more though.

The Hyatt is the same deal with harbour view.

Ah I must have looked at a different room type at the Rhombus, as 500+sq ft is significant.

A quick thanks to everybody. Really amazing hotel and the location was perfect to get to various places. Really liked the club lounge and the view from the room.

Thanks again and hope all will be well in HKG

P.S. The Qantas Lounge was really nice, one if the nicest I have been to.
