Reasonable Sushi/Sashimi in TST

We're just 2 and planning to get probably 2 platters of assorted sushi/sashimi plus some side dishes like maki or chawan mushi. We love uni / sea urchin so they have to have good uni. Any recommendations for the most bang for the buck establishment?

Preferably we would like to keep the budget to a maximum of 200-250HKD per person. It will be a lunch meal more or less.

So far I'm looking at Hokahoka, The Yuu, Sushi Toku, Sushi Tokumi, Aji Ichiban, Restaurant Osaka, Sen Ryo and Genki Ippai.

Thanks in advanced!

How's Daikiya? Is it better than Todai?

Yuu and Aji Ichiban is more like a izakaya, not a sushi-focused shop. Hoka Hoka is a very average restaurant, and the sushi is particularly not too good. Osaka is average but relatively cheap. The best time to go there is Sunday dinner when everything is discounted. Senryo is a kaiten chain so they give you budget prices rather than quality. Genki Ippai serves good valued cooked lunch sets but they aren't a great place for raw food. Sushi Toku is the best on your list although a bit expensive for what they give you. I have not been to Sushi Tokumi.

My own recommendations are either Sushi Kenjo or Sushi Hiro.

I saw those 2 in Openrice but I think they are way above my budget. Can you give me an idea how much the food costs in these 2 restaurants?

If you think they are within my budget then I will give them a shot.

I'm not an expert in sushi/sashimi so if the sushi/sashimi in Daikiya is passable for you, we can consider it as well. At least we have more variety in food.

Kenjo and Sushi Hiro both offer lunch sets for right around your budgeted figure ($200). If you order a la carte, you will end up paying a lot more. Note that you must reserve for both in advance.

A la carte at some of the other places you mentioned could be cheaper, but quality also suffers.
