question about good buffet breakfast

We're having trouble finding accommodation for January for two families, so may have to end up having each family at different locations. One of the things both families loved when in Phuket was the big buffet breakfast at the resort each morning but the places we can book to stay in don't have this type of breakfast. Can anyone suggest a place that does this kind of breakfast that we could go to just for breakfast and meet up with the other family but won't cost a fortune?

The Mercure Resort in Sanur has a buffet breakfast.

Have had it a few times but find that the resort price is a bit high. Now we just go to restaurant somewhere in Sanur and order breakfast there. It's really cheap and enough for us.
