Chinese Restaurant in Bali?

Hi All,

Currently staying in Legian and happy to travel to Seminyak through to Kuta or anywhere in between.

I am looking for two different chinese restaurants

1) Dim Sum - Over the years have tried the one in the Dynasty and the one at DFS Galleria, both were terrible. Any suggestions? We normally have a Dim Sum every Sunday morning in Perth and a few weeks without dim sum is killing us....

2) Chinese Restaurant - normal, run of the mill, but good quality chinese. Something along the lines of Yu at Burswood in Perth would be excellent. There seems to be many more chinese restaurants in Bali these days but would like to be recommended one

Thank you!

There's a beautiful looking Chinese restaurant in Sanur opposite the Hyatt. I think Snooky may have tried that one - the grounds alone look magical, hopefully the food matches.

There's also one on Tripadvisor named The Fortune Cookie which has good reviews. Its address is Jalan Sudamala 5, Sanur.

Have a bit of a look through the restaurants listed on the left hand side of these forum pages to see if any others get good recommendations.

Happy eating.

Hi Blaq

The restaurant called 'Oenpao' in the new Pullman Nirwana on the corner of Jl Pantai Kuta/Jl Melasti apparently does Yum cha/dim sum.

? a Chinese restaurant at Bali Galleria where the Dept store/duty free like store is, (shop where the large tour bus/tourists go) the restaurant is upstairs.
