Bali Dynasty rooms - Family Garden View or Kids suite?

Sadly we've had to cancel our May '10 holiday in Bali and will aim to rebook for March/April '11.

Booking further in advance gives us more choice of family type rooms.

Any thoughts on which family room to go for? We don't want the Pool View rooms preferring more privacy and less noise. We also know that by next year all rooms will be renovated so room condition isn't so much the question. Can someone tell where the Kids Suites are located and if they are better the Family Garden View rooms? I stayed at the Dynasty many years ago so have a rough idea of the layout.

Your thoughts would be appreciated and give us all something to look forward to beyond the current challenges.

Cheers,

Rosey

Hi Rosey The kids suites are located on the ground floor, I am pretty sure some face the quieter side that open up to the gardens. Also look at the new family suites that can sleep five, they overlook the pond at the front of the Dynasty. It pays to book early for the Dynasty as it is very popular now, we stayed there last year and we booked ten months ahead. The renovated rooms are ;ovely. Have a great time!!

Hi there, a friend of mine stayed in a kids suite a few years ago and was facing the side wall. She wasn't very happy with the location of the room so maybe check with the hotel if any of the rooms face the pool. Otherwise a family garden view room might be better. We walked through the resort about a month ago and the rooms were being renovated. We were told they would be finished by June this year.

Thanks for that.

Do you know if the room your friend had was in the front, the blocks nearer to the Lobby, or nearer to the back (pool/beach end) of the property.

We don't actually want a pool view as we prefer a bit more privacy and I wonder if the room looked onto some sort of a garden?

Hi Rosey,

We have stayed at the Dynasty 3 times and loved it everytime. We stayed in a kids suite which was on the ground floor down near the pool but not pool view. Our view was out towards garden & then wall but we never really sat out there anyway so it wasnt an issue for us. Whenever we were at hotel kids want to be around the pool anyway. Last September we stayed in 2 interconnecting delux rooms which we found the best yet. Gave everyone a bit more space(our kids are 10 & 7) and our own TV each but still all together. The Dynasty is just beautiful since its renovations and whilst it can be a bit noisy & full on at times due to all the kids it is still the best place to stay if you have kids- they love it!
