Accommodation for 7 with simple traditional Balinese touch

Hi everyone,

I am looking for an accommodation for my family of 7, comprising 3 elderlies parents/in-laws, 2 lazy middle-aged couple, and 2 hyperactive kids at 8 & 9. We were initially looking for a simple one with traditional Balinese touch, like the one of Alam Shanti & Alam Jiwa (Ubud), but was told that it is too far away for the 3.5Days 3Nights trip program. I found Ponduk Ayu in Sanur, but it is fully booked in mid March.

So, I did a search for those in Legian, Kuta, Seminyak areas but found that they are mostly modern styled resorts, if not the super expensive exclusive type. I have a budget of USD400 nett per night for the accommodation. Do you have any good suggestion to share?

Thanks very much indeed.

Ubud is a perfect base and any of the Alam properties would absolutely fit your requirements. Sanur is lovely too, but I'm not sure you were advised that Ubud is too far away. What were the things you were wanting to do.

Hi BrisbanyLizzy, thanks for the reply. This is our first visit to Bali, the trip itinerary are mainly those must see venue (temples, volcano, cultural villages). My local guide advised me to stay in Kuta-Seminyak region, or else we will be wasting time in traveling, though I thought Ubud is at the center region.

Hi Marquin59, thanks very much for introducing the amazing exotic Katana, it seems to have many staff in the small resort, is there ample privacy?
