Paramao root oil - customs

Last night my husband purchased a small bottle of oil from a seller on the beach. It is for arthritis etc, a massage oiL. I now wonder if you can bring it back to Sydney. It is unopened, looks to be less than 100mls, but it does appear to have some plant material inside, possibly Paramao root. The product is from Timor and claims it is made from 100% natural Paramao root.

You can't bring it in your hand luggage - because it has no ml listed on the bottle they confiscate it before you get on the plane,( because they can't confirm it's under 100 ml) this happen to me as I alway carry my declare stuff in my hand luggage.

So do I have to put it in my checked luggage and then open my bag at customs? I was going to take it in my cabin luggage because it is under 100mls, although it doesn't state the volume. I don't want it to be confiscated.

Yes it need to go in your checked baggage - becauce there is no volume listed n the bottle. hopefully the customs guy will just ask what it is and not want to see it. They should know it ok to bring in.

Yes it's good for arthritis.

When I was in Bali a few months ago I asked so many locals where to get some and no one knew, is there a special area to go to?
