Candi Kuning has a fab fruit, veg and spice market that's worth stopping at before or after your Treetop foray
and you'll also go past Lake Bratan (very scenic) if you want to factor it into your trip.
Thank you ladies for your great feedback, really appreciate the information provided. I wouldn't be able to plan our holidays without the generosity from the TA advisors!!!!

May not be able talk the 'other half' into a 4 hour return road trip, lol.
Will try to make it extra enticing for him :)
Bedugul Botanical Gardens is in a sharp bench of the road. We came from the other side, from Munduk, so we easily passed it without noticing, but you come from the south, so it is on your left hand in a corner.
You first pay small entrance fee for the botanical gardens, as Bali Tree Top park is situated in these gardens.
Best to go in the morning, climate is cool there.
And in the same trip you can visit the Ulun Danu Bratan temple, strawberry shops, Candi Kuning markets.
Our kids loved this park and we too! You can do several levels, but if one decides not to go any further, this is no problem, as you stay all together, the watching people just stay on the ground, while the others follow the level.
Have fun!Edited: 11 December 2013, 15:14
Is your husband a golfer? There is a magnificient golf course about 1km further on from Treetop Adventures which would keep him amused whilst you enjoyed your time at Bedugal! There are also boat trips on the lake, and a chap near the lake with the biggest python I have ever seen, which he can have a picture taken with if he likes snakes!
'a chap with the biggest python I have ever seen...' :-)
Sorry for sniggering.
Treetop tip: don't wear flipflops.
Thanks to everyone for the great tips :)
