VVIP airport service

Hi

We will be staying at Komaneka and the hotel offers us VVIP escort service at the airport on arrival for US$30/person.

Has anybody use it? Is it worth it?

Our flight will arrive around 3PM on a Friday. As of Saturday 2/8/14, when I check the arrival status for DFS, there seems to be quite a few flights landing between 2:30 and 3:30PM

thank you

You will get a mixture of replies to that question, but I would say absolutely yes, worth every cent.

Does that include transport to the Komaneka? If yes, then I would say it's a reasonable deal as around 3pm is peak time for arrivals.

This service gets you past Immigration quickly , but also breeds corruption.

The going rate for VIP fast track is Between $20 - $25 per person and a private car to Ubud would be approx $25 for the car not per person. You should be able to work out if it is worth it.

if you go on the airport webiste it will show you either domestic or international arrivals for the day. We are flying out on a Saturday and I had a look last saturday and I was horrified to see 10+ planes arriving within the half hour that we arrive so I am dreading this with 2 young children. I am contemplating the VIP but at $25 a person (there are 4 of us) Its a bit too expensive

Thank you, everybody!

Komaneka charges $30/person for VIP service at airport and another $55/car for airport-hotel transfer. It seems they charge a little bit too much.

If I decide to use VIP service, is there a company people recommend?

Thanks again

cd98, why don't you play it by ear and see how busy it is when you arrive. Sometimes planes are early and sometimes late. We usually arrive at 2.30pm on a Saturday and most times the airport is nearly empty.

There will be fast track agents in the Arrivals Hall looking for your business if you require it.
