hi

we arrive tommarow to the philippines for 32 days.

i have a franch passport and my wife has an israeli passport.

for how many days is the visa in the airport good for?

i understood its for 21 days but negotiable for more.

21 days is correct (but I am not sure about a Israeli passport...but probably same). If you overstay, you must pay additional at departure or have the stay extended prior (and also pay).

thanks! i would like to stay for 30 days which means i only need an extension of nine days.....do you know how likely this situation is :

"However, Immigration Officers at ports of entry may exercise their discretion to admit holders of passports valid for at least sixty (60) days beyond the intended period of stay."

Exceedingly unlikely. It is not a major issue to extend your visa in the Philippines. Just ask Bobby Fischer.

If you'll be visiting Boracay you can process your extension there - it's very quick and painless.
