Overnight parking in NAIA Centennial Terminal 2

Has anyone experienced leaving your car in the NAIA Centennial Terminal 2 parking lot for several nights? Is it safe?

Hi haribon01. I availed of the overnight parking facility at Terminal 2 about 8-10x already. Yes it is safe as all "overnighters" are grouped in just one area. You have to turn left immediately after the security check. A security guard will log your name and flight details for your protection and you have to identify yourself before exiting. You can see some cars with covers so I guess some even leave it for a number of days/weeks. If I'm not mistaken it is still 50 pesos per day so it is way cheaper than Park N Go. Even if I have a flight at Terminal 3 I prefer the overnight parking facility of Terminal 2 and I just take the airport shuttle.

@kegler...I've been wanting to try the overnight parking at T1 & T3. I'm still quite apprehensive though as I've heard that there are times that it's full. In fact a friend of mine experienced this once at T3 and almost missed his flight. Have you experienced this? Where can you board the free shuttle in T2 to T3 and at what time intervals? Thanks in advance!

I tried the T2 and T3 overnight parking. Both were ok. The shuttle costs 20php and runs at around 20 to 25 minute interval the times I took them

@bryantpark88: I haven't tried the overnight parking at T1 (only T2 & T3). Yes, I encountered once at T2 that the overnight parking has no more slots because of a long weekend. The kind security guard just let me park at the regular parking area and just took down notes in his log book that I will be away for 3 days. Haven't encountered that at T3 but there's always an option at Resorts World if ever the parking is full.

50 pesos per day!

While I don't use Melbourne Airport's car parking in Australia, its weekly rate (fairly heavily discounted) is A$69 or roughly P3,100.

Airport parking in my home city is therefore about nine times as expensive as in Manila.

Given that most airline passengers in Manila who can afford to park and to fly would not be on the minimum wage (and perhaps far from it), this may be one indicator where even on a purchasing power parity basis, Philippines comes out in front.

In Australia, unless one forks out for valet parking, there's no personal service from a security guard...just an impersonal ticket machine. Grrr!

Ive just booked some parking in Melbourne for a trip to Brisbane for 2N 3D and it was A$41 for undercover valet parking. The prices at an International airport like Manila at P50 per day is really great value .
