Marriott Hotel feedback

Can anyone give me any feedback on the Marriott Hotel (the one near the airport, in case there's another one!). How are the rooms? Service? Food? Is the food reasonably priced? Also, how safe to walk from the airport terminal to that hotel - some say it's OK, others say not. I'd rather not take a cab for such a short distance but will be carrying cash and laptop. Tnx!

It's a great 5 star hotel. Beds are amazing; service is OK. Lots of choices for food because it's right beside the Newport Mall. Buffet is so-so. Steakhouse has mixed reviews. No free wifi.

Which terminal are you coming from? I'm not sure if Resorts World Manila still operates the free shuttle from the airport terminals to RWM. From the drop off point just walk to Marriott through the mall and casino.

I wouldn't walk going there even from Terminal 3.

Resort World still operate their shuttle service but do not bank on it. Take a taxi to the hotel.

My colleagues did stay there for a convention last year. They said it is alright. Good to be exact.

Do not try to walk from T3 to RWM. It is too dangerous.

Sirenna

Its rated as No 1 in Pasay at the moment and the reviews look very good.

Have a look at the reviews as there are many:

Thank you very much to all. Just looking at my ticket now and it doesn't say which terminal I'll arrive at, but I'm flying Cebu Pacific from Kalibo.

You will land at T3 and Marriott will just be opposite but take a taxi there.

Well Justin, and also to Sirenna, I do not mean anything negative against anyone of you.

I have spoken to some Filipinos before and most of them are not well off (I am not implying Sirenna is one of them).

So to them, even going to the next province by bus is a luxury. Yes, I have seen such people before and my ex-helper is one of them. She has to sometimes borrow money to come to Manila for some reasons. So not to mention even about taking a flight.

So maybe Sirenna has her own reasons for not leaving Boracay often.

I stayed at Marriott more than a year ago and I will assure you Sirenna that you will enjoy your stay as their hotel rooms and breakfast would rival any other 5-star hotel in Makati.

The shuttle Terminal 3<-->Resorts World (besides Marriott) runs 24 hrs. a day.
