Accommodation that TA classifies as 'speciality' (the fairly hard to find third category that is not a hotel nor a B & B), U-Story on magical and attractive Siquijor Island (accessible by ferry from Dumaguete City, has 21 'excellent' ratings by TA members but no other reviews attracting less than five out of five.
Is this some sort of record for TA's listed Filipino accommodation establishments?
Cocoon Hotel,. Quezon City comes close, but has a few who rate it as 'average' (three out of five) and more who rate it as 'very good' (four out of five).
I have only stayed at Coco Grove Resort on Siquijor Island, a great hotel that sits on my favourite Filipino island, but U-Story's proprietors and staff must be doing more than a little something correct:
Congratulations to them for attracting such great reviews from visitors who hail from quite a few different nations. Encouraging excellence can breed success. Word of mouth (or 'words from TA') is great advertising provided the reviewers are not 'suspicious' once only reviewers.
