Philippines trip

Hi guys,

Planning to visit the following places -

Manila

Boracay

Cebu

Palwan

Probably leaving Bohl

If anyone can help me with the probable days to be spent in each of these places and the order of visiting them.

Looking for a good mix of beaches, partying, shopping, landscape photography and culture/citi life exploring. Have 9-10 days.

1. Re: Philippines trip

9-10 days is not enough time to cover all these places unless you want to spend your holiday doing a lot of travelling.

Pick 1-2 places plus Manila. You will need to spend at least 1 day either end of your trip in Manila effectively leaving you with 7-8 days. Try not to book your International Flight on the same day as your Domestic Flight as any delays or cancellations may result in you missing your onward flight. If you must do so leave plenty of time between flights.

P.S. From your list of requirements Manila (shopping, partying) and Boracay (beaches, partying) and Palawan (landscape photography) best suit what you are looking for.

I agree with Tommo, but in Palawan I would suggest restricting yourself to either (a) Puerto Princessa - Honda bay or (b) Coron as time is insufficient to explore the rest of it, keeping in mind the travel.

Alternately, you could do Manila (shopping), Boracay (beaches / partying) and Bohol (landscape photography)

Culture - everywhere (Do read up a bit on Filipino culture on the net ina dvance and you will be amazed by the fun loving spirit of the people here)
