Sad. Hope the situation improves. After all, about 200,000 tourists came from Taiwan to Philippines last year (216,511 to be precise)

well, this may lower prices, but from what I see and know, I doubt if it will significantly impact Boracay, except for a few hotels that go after this group mostly.

I share leftovertoo's sentiments.

Such bans tend to hurt both nations. One nation's citizens are unable easily to visit a preferred destination; the second country loses income and therefore jobs.

These two nations have little history of fighting so one hopes that commonsense prevails.
