Buses from Puerto Princesa to El Nido

Hello all,

I can't seem to find the exact answer to my question so I'm hoping someone can help me.

We are arriving in PP at around noon, do we need to pre-book a bus to go north to El Nido or are there buses always available? What are our options? Prices?

Please help! thank you!

No advance booking. Just show up at the counter so it is a risk as there is a possibility of no seats.

So just try to be early and buy the next available bus to El Nido.

Is there no way to pre-book?

As MH says turn up on time on the day of travel.

We had no problems getting a seat.

How much did you pay?

I suggest you take a van instead. The journey is much smoother and goes by up to two hours faster although the price does jack up to PHP300 more for each person than how much you'd pay for a bus (PHP350-PHP370).

I actually found the bus quite comfortable. Large windows good size and adjustable seats and plenty of leg room. Vans seem a bit cramped if you are sharing with others and may have limited luggage space.

It also depends which van you take.

Some of the drivers are the "descendants" of Michael Schumacher or Alonso!
