Palawan / Puerto Princessa Itinerary Confusion

Hi,

Would love some advice - considering a last minute trip this weekend to Palawan, flying into Puerto Princessa. Would arrive Friday night in Puerto Princessa and depart on Tuesday mid-afternoon from there (so would have all day Sat, Sun, Mon and a portion of Tue in Palawan).

Confused as to whether enough time to go out of Puerto Princessa for overnight stay or whether it's best to stay there all 4 nights. Seems like there are many great spots in Palawan but given how big it is and how long it will take to get around that going to Coron, El Nido etc might be a challenge.

What love to see some nature, spend some time on a beach.

Any tips/suggestions are much appreciated!

I will jump on a bus to El Nido right away that very Friday night and return to PP on Monday.

You should stay overnight in PP and avoid to travel at night. if you leave PP at 10:00pm you will arrive in El Nido at 03:30 - 04:00 am with the risk that the driver will fall asleep…People doing that are taking a high risk.

Anyway check-in in most hotel is Noon or 14:00.

You can get the first bus to El Nido at 09:00 am. 6 hours journey.

It is not practical to visit Coron from Puerto Princesa as there are no direct flights. There is a once weekly 2 Go ferry but the times would not suit your short trip, so as suggested above travelling by one of the two bus companies (RoRo or Cherry) to El Nido and back is the best option.

Look up 'El Nido' on TA to see what is on offer.

Joel do have a point too.

If you are concern, take the very first transport out to El Nido the next day.
