Puerto to El Nido transport

I just read the info about buses to El Nido, but I was wondering if the travel times, etc. stayed the same in the rainy season. Do they still run every day and what kind of road conditions can we expect in August? Cheers, Bob

Hi,

I would assume that the buses will run all year round as it's the locals that use them plus the occasional tourist, so they will still need to get around - rain or no rain.

The road from PP to Taytay is mostly all concrete, so no problems. From there to El Nido it's a dirt road and takes about 1 and half hours - maybe this stretch will take longer if it's really badly flooded.

You also have the option of the minivans that ply this route. Fort Walley being the one that travels into El Nido proper. However we preferred the buses - cheaper and more room
