recommend driver and accommodation please.

Hello,

We are flying to Bohol for the weekend 16/17th March and want to visit the chocolate hills and see the tarsiers if possible. We arrive mid morning Sat and leave mid afternoon Sunday. Is this enough time?

Can anyone recommend a good hotel, please?

And is there a dependable and safety conscious tour driver we can hire?

Or, is it safe to hire a car ther and drive oursleves?

Thank you for any help you can give.

Glenda.

Bohol Travel Buddy is highly recommended and used by several members on this forum including myself.

Accomodation recommendations depend on your budget and where in Bohol you want to stay.

We stayed at Alona Beach Bohol and loved Golden Palm Resort which isnt beachfront but only a 5 minute walk away. Has great reviews on tripadvisor. Modern accomodation with friendly owners. It a small family run resort.

Thank you Tommo, I'll look up Travel Buddy and the hotels you mention. Does Travel Buddy have drivers or do you have to drive yourself?

Chocolate hills and see the Tarsiers only in half a day is possible.

If you want to stay in the city, you can try El Portal Inn.

I have corresponded with them and they are friendly. You may want to stay there in the city or convenience.

Else head to Alona beach. Paragayo resort and L’Elephant Bleu Cottages & Rooms is not beach front but it is just a 5min walk to the beach.

Thank you Clareirishman, Tommo and Mousehunt once again for your assistance and suggestions. We would like to get a hotel close to Alona Beach (not 5 star ratings) if possible so will look at those mentioned and some suggested by Agoda.com . We have had a reply from Travel Buddy.
