Boracay

Hi there. I am going to Boracay on Wed 17th until 29th October. I am going for a wedding. What is the weather like at the moment? I hear we may be approaching rainy season?!

Crookie Suz,

In the Philippines, rainy season in general runs from June through October.

Unless there are major typhoons, the rainy season is not necessarily a bad time to visit th Philippines. Many times, during rainy season, it will rain for 2 or 3 hours, and then clear up and becomes sunny and warm again. This cycle of rain and sun will repeat itself through the rainy season.

Just before you leave, you should check to see if there are any typhoons forecasted for the time of your visit; this way you can be prepared and pack any necessary items.

Regards,

GeoVan

Hi,

It's not approaching raining season, it's coming to the end of it. The weather right now is very nice - calm and sunny. But no guarantees, it can be very changeable at this time of year.
