logistics?!

Am looking into an aug trip to Boracay via Manila or Clark in Aug (coming from UK via Bangkok).

Which is the nearest/cheapest/most accessible airport to Boracay (Caticlan?). Which is the cheapest/most reliable/safest carrier from N.A. or Clark to Boracay?

We're a young family, so a bumpy ride in a minivan isn't a great option!

Also, can anyone recommend mid-range suitable accommm? On the beach, family-friendly?

Thanks,

Stuart

1. Re: logistics?!

SDHayes,

The Clark, Manila, and Cebu International Airports all provide easy access to Boracay via Caticlan. Most, if not all, of the commercial carriers now offer direct flights into Caticlan from Manila. From Clark, only SEAir has direct flights to Caticlan.

Commercial carriers servicing Boracay:

ASIAN SPIRIT

CEBU PACIFIC

AIR PHILIPPINES

SEAIR

Regarding price, they're all pretty much comparable so you should shop around. All these carriers are reliable; Air Philippines is the low-cost subsidiary carrier of Philippine Airlines and is the latest entrant among carriers servicing Boracay.

In terms of a mid-ranged, family friendly accommodation, consider Villa Sunset Boracay.
