Paradise Garden vs. Fridays & weather in August

Planning a trip to Boracay in August... Can someone give me an idea of weather to expect during this time?

Also we're looking for nice accommodation with a pool. Beachside preferable but we're open to suggestions. I've been looking at Paradise Garden & Fridays. Has anyone been to both and can suggest which they think is better?

Thanks

august is rainy season here in the philippines, we can't say when its goin to rain, you have a +-30% chance it doesn't.

white beach will be quite windy and the water wavy not the pool like water that boracay is famous off during the good season.

Friday's is one off the top resort in theisland, excellent food good service.
