How do I get from Clark Airport to Boracay?

Hey!

I need your help. Me and my bf lands in Clark Airport on January 5th and wants the quickest and easiest way to Boracay.

Someone said there is a harbour about 1,5 hours away from the airport with a taxi and then there is a boat that is very quick over to Boracay.. Is this correct? What is the name of the harbour in that case?

Would be so happy to get some help with this.

Best regards,

Jennifer

I dont think there are flights Clark to kalibo so if you want to fly you need to get to manila - around 3-4 hours by bus either from the terminal or by jeepney/taxi to Dau bus terminal where there are frequent buses to Pasay then a taxi to the airport and a flight to Caticlan then boat to Boracay or Kalibo then van to Caticlan - about 2 hours OR

To Pasay but ask to be dropped of at JAM terminal in Cubao nehttp://travel.2go.com.ph/ar GMA station then get a frequent aircon bus to Batangas pier ( about 3 hours) and at 9 pm get the overnight ferry by http://travel.2go.com.ph/ to Caticlan arriving 6 am cost 1600 for both of you in a berth or 3600 in a stateroom.

A lot depends on your timings, if you are arriving early AM you may not want to hang around all day but there are short time hotels where you can book a room for 3/6/12 hours complete with free wifi and tv . I often stay hotel sogo harrison branch if leaving from NAIA and jump in a jeepney/taxi to the nearby mall of asia for something to do -( or have a day looking round intramuros etc )

there is a harbour in Manila, but if you want to go that route you should go the RO RO where you get a bus that goes on the boat. Why go by boat anyway, as it takes a long time and its not cheaper than flying if you get a promo fare. Make a reservation in advance ouit of MNL, get yourself to the airport from Clark then you are on your way You can also fly out of Clark, but flights are limited and I never found them to be reliable.

you can take a taxi from Clark which is 90 kms north of manila to Batangas which is 110 kms south of manila and the taxi will be around 6000 pesos and then 9 hours further south by the ferry . If you go on google maps or google earth you will find clark batangas and boracay. However I would follow Jeffs advice and fly as that is a good fare.

If you arrive at Clark and decide to fly out there is nothing to do at the airport - you won't even be allowed to go into the terminal building. I dont think there is any facility for leaving your bags although one airline once looked after my umbrella for me as they are not allowed in hand carry only. Nearby there is Angeles City so if your boyfriend wants to watch girls dangling off poles that is an option for a few hours, there is also a SM mall at 'checkpoint' on the perimeter rd or if you want some rest there is a hotel sogo next to Dau bus station where you just turn up and book a room for a few hours, despite being a short time hotel it is not seedy ( apart from the mirror and porn channel !)

Thank you all for your answers.

Ok so I will book us a flight from Manila to Kalibo.

How long should I estimate the taxi from Clark to Manila takes?

We land at 10.35 and there is a flight at 15.20 from Manila. I have no idea if I should book this or not since I don't know if we will get there in time with a cab.

I thought we landed on the 6th at first and then there was a flight from Clark to Kalibo but now I saw we land on the 7th and ofcourse no flights from Clark on the 7th. =(

You are cutting it a bit fine however journey time airport to airport in the day but out of the rush hour is about 2-2 1/2 hours and usually when i have landed at Clark am out of the terminal after immigration and collecting bags in about 1/2 hour. There is a whole range of desks offering taxi transfers, bank on around 2500-3000 pesos.
