Help recommending hotels 4d3n under 800usd

Hey,

My buddy n I, along with our girlfriends decided on a last minute trips to boracay this late April to utilize on the public holiday over here. Is there any good recommendation for beachfront hotel, ocean facing rooms (hopefully modern) around this period? It's our first trip to boracay n our first oversea trip with our girls, want to make it special. We each put aside 800usd per room, and hopefully can hit our ideal room with less than our fork out budget. Thanks in advance for all help

to be honest with you, many of the beach front hotels do not always have ocean facing rooms and some you have to walk so far back you may as well stay at an off the beach hotel with less walk.

Also you do not always get more by spending more.

Check the reviews, but try Anbassador, Discover and Fridays. Make sure you ask for ocean view room. Also, look at Blue Mango, less expensive but some rooms have the view you seek.

Nigi Nigi Too and Diamond Water Edge Resort are places with great ocean views in Station 1.Not sure if they are available during the period of your stay. Contact the resort. Here is my review of Diamond Edge Water Resort:

End of April is a busy week.

Book as early as possible.

BTW, USD800 per person that means USD3200 in total.

You can get very good room with that budget.

the biggest disappointment on Boracay is asking for, think your paying for and not getting an ocean view room, just a thought. Or the view is on an angle, tree blocked or such.....be clear which room and which view you will get then cross your fingers. Ocean front hotel does NOT mean ocean view rooms always. .

Very true Leftover and you may need to pay premium prices to get those. All the rooms at Diamond Water Edge Resort are beachfront and some at Nigi Nigi Too are. Since your trip is very near you may struggle to get what you want. Best to organise a lot earlier.

Yes that's da disappointment we are afraid of. Since now I can't get any room I have resorts to travel agency which is a pain in an a$$ as it is public holiday since Saturday. Working day resume tomorrow. So a good load of time wasted. Anyone seen uptown boracay? Or regency resorts n spa? Told the agency to confirm 2 rooms on both hotel which they can only get back to us after public holiday here. The wait is such a drag.
