Soy yoghurt

Hi,

Just wonder if anyone can tell me if soy yoghurt is available to purchase in Singapore? We have a young child who is allergic to dairy/milk and eggs. Any allergy friendly shop or any tips would be greatly appreciated. We will be in Spore/Msia for about 1 1/2 weeks.

Thanks!

Hi,

Not sure about the soy yoghurt though I think Cold Storage have them. Hopefully someone here can confirm this.

Meanwhile, would Soya Beancurd be a substitute?

Soy yoghurt may not be readily available at all supermarkets however, soy products are very popular here and the product range is quite varied - soy milk, beancurd, pancakes, ice cream, etc. There are 2 major soyfood chain stores - Jollibean and MrBean. They have outlets everywhere. You may also come across Soyato soy ice cream in the supermarkets.

Hi, thanks for the information. I contacted cold storage and they said it is available at jelita, Great world city, Paragon market place and tanglin market place stores. Which one is close to the city centre? We are staying at the residence which is next to city hall station I think.

Look fwd to trying out the soy products from mr bean and jollibean.

Thanks!

Hi

Paragon is nearest. Its along Orchard Road. Since you are staying at Residence, just take the Mrt from City Hall and alight at Orchard or Somerset. Paragon is short walking distance.
