Hi JoDon58,

Singapore is small and compact with an efficient public transport system. So where you stay does not really matter as it is relatively easy and cheap to get to the Singapore Cruise Centre at Harbourfront.

However, if you let us know your budget/room/night, I am sure members will response with their recommendations.

FYI, the nearest hotel to Harbourfront is the Bay Hotel. You can check up their reviews here in TA and see if they meet your requirements and budget.

My 2c. Hope this helps...

The major city centre hotel districts are about 10minutes taxi ride from Harbourfront and about as many SGD for the cost - at that point look into the variety of hotels you can go for in the city and the ability to do something the evening before the cruise.

If you really want to stay near harbor front, you can consider staying at resorts world Sentosa on the sunny Sentosa island.

Or stay around tanjong pagar area- M hotel, amara hotel etc. less than 10mins by taxi.

But like the rest said, probably easier for you to stay in town and stay near dhoby ghaut. From there, you can take a direct train (few stops) to harbourfront. Maybe Concorde hotel if you don't wish to spend too much?

Hope that helps.
