Safe for woman to explore on her own?

Does anyone know if it is safe for a woman to go around the city and sightsee on her own?

Yes, safe, even at midnight you can take the buses and subway. Perfectly safe.

Absolutely. Even if you went out looking for trouble, it will be difficult to find. Well, this might be a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point...

I had a bit of insomnia when I first moved to Singapore and would go for walks at 2am. Never has any problems

Hello,

I have been visiting Singapore for over 30 years and have never felt unsafe or under any threat at all. When I travel anywhere, including Singapore I am just cautious with my valuables and personal belongings in hotels or on public transport.

If you are polite, respectful and aware of your surroundings you will be fine.
