Singapore F1 2011.

We are off to Singapore for the Grand Prix in September this will be our 3rd visit. It seems that all the hotel prices have doubled in price since last year.Does anyone know of a good hotel that is reasonably priced, around 150 pounds per night including breakfast.

You can try Grand mercure Roxy hotel ..... its about 15 minutes away from the town but prices should be within your range. One other option can be holiday inn atrium. All the best!

For that budget, I won't recommend Roxy Hotel. It's not near the venue, plus not near to any MRT station, unless you really want to stay somewhere near where the local residences area. It's at East Coast side, well it's near the airport though. Most transportation will be taxi and bus. Try Carlton, Rendezvous, Ibis Bencoolen, Peninsula-Excelsior, or Furama City Center.

The Ibis is walking distance to the circuit and theres plenty to see and do in the area. 1 stop further on the MRT is the the Vhotel Lavender. This is right on top of the hotel so the hotels 5-7min from your room. Both are relatively new but with smaller rooms. There have been some reports of noise school children staying at the Vhotel, but there should be any come F1 time. Ibis should be around the £110 mark, slight less for the Vhotel.

I'd book sooner rather than later. I booked my accommodation (Swissotel Merchant Court) in April and it has since doubled in price

We stayed at The Saff. It is a small boutique hotel, but should be easily within the budget. This is in a quiet portion of Chinatown. It is within 5 min walk to 2 MRT stations. It does not include breakfast, but there are ALOT of food options in the area. Breakfast was never a problem.
