Hi, we were in Singapore end of Feb, early Mar. We did the flyer about 1ish and it was empty, it takes about 30mins to do the loop (or flight). Assuming the times you mentioned are arrival then departure. Don't forget you need to allow time to get out of the airport and into the city.. maybe allow an 1 hr to clear customs and get to the flyer.

If you dont feel you have time to go to Chinatown the food court under the flyer is really nice.. looks like an old street scene. We had the Chicken Rice, it was to die for and all up with a drink each ended up being about S$15, so about $12AUS. But there is lots of other choices.

Also if you are flying with Singapore Airlines, show your boarding pass, you get a really good discount on the flyer..if not you can still show your AUS passport, you also get a voucher for down stairs (S$5)

But if you do go to Chinatown, try Yum Cha restaurant, it was really good.

Enjoy your trip

This is really good info about showing Singapore Airlines boarding pass to get a discount on Singapore Flyer - I have not seen that advertised anywhere. I will remember to take our boarding passes in my bag when we go to the flyer. Can a Singapore Airlines boarding pass get discounts anywhere else in Singapore??
