Advice wanted on 7d7n itinerary

Hey all,

I need some advice on a 7d7n itinerary.

Firstly i'd like to know is how do-able is what i'm proposing in a 7 day period?

I'm travelling with a friend so most of this is a combination of our wish lists, ideas and such.

I haven't been to Singapore before, so you may notice mistakes on my part where I have listed an activity that is miles away from another in the same day. And that's really where i'm hoping you can guide me.

Many thanks.

1/ FRIDAY: instead of Raffles, better drink at brewerkz.com ( riverside point)

2/ MONDAY: USS may easily occupy the whole day, i would lunch inside the park and have the rest of the day enjoying Revenge of the mummy etc ( even if for the third time)...LOL).

All the rest is doable and planned with good pace.

Good job.

Thanks for the advice Schonefeld.

I'm really looking forward to the Universal Studios tour.

you would need to allocate 1.5 days for sentosa based on the items on your list. The underwater world is in sentosa but I don't think there is indoor golf there.

Fort canning is across the road from clarke quay.

hey brad,

seems like a packed itinerary you got there. I would recommend the areas of Dempsey Hill(near orchard) or Rochester Park(near holland village) for maybe chill out lunches/dinners or just for drinks. It can be abit pricey but its definitely very chill.. If your going for brunch at Dempsey, try Barracks Cafe House or Jones the Grocer. If your into live music, go to timbre @ substation. Their duck pizza is a must try! Seeing that you're planning a trip to Marina Bay Sands for the rooftop View which costs $20, why not head down to Level 33 @ Marina Bay Financial Center(just opposite MBS) where you can get a pint of beer for $16 . For local food, you could try Newton Circus or Laguna @ East Coast. Some local dishes worth trying are char kway teow, fried prawn mee and sambal stingray. Hope you enjoy ur stay here mate.

For Sentosa stuff you have Underwater World after a dinner when I think it will be closed. Then Universal Studios and bits ofthe rest of Sentosa - War Museum and Barracks - I assume you mean Fort Siloso? If so that is right next to Underwater World so worth doing them side by side.

Indoor Golf is listed amongst the Sentosa day - there is no mini golf at Sentosa anymore - Sijori closed a few years ago and was pretty tired when it did. They are refurbing it but I have seen nothing on a new opening (if you have I'd like to see that as I do miss my minigolf on Sentosa). There is an Indoor Gold simulator at Raffles Place, Vgolf at Plaza by the park and indoor mini gold at Lilliputt on East Coast that I know of - but not on Sentosa.

you could easily spend half a day at underwater world alone. perhaps you could do it on the same day as the iFly (it's awesome, btw!) and fort siloso?

USS would probably take a day, too

I should have asked this earlier, thanks for the information guys.

I've decided that USS should be a whole day, so i've planned for that

Also good to know Fort Canning is near Clarke Quay, will move a couple of things around to make that happen.

If you don't know the relative location of things, there is nothing better I can recommend than firing up Googlemaps, and getting your head round relative positioning using the map/aerial view hybrid. Huge huge benefit for doing that.
