Pram/Stroller

I am planning to travel to Singapore in June 2012 with my wife and 4 year old kid. Any idea if you get Pram/Stroller on rent especially at key attractions such as Universal Studio and Sentosa so it is easy for my kid and me too... Also, how is Bellios Road for staying. Planning to stay at Grand Chancellor there

Appreicate your response. Thanks

Would encourage to bring your own from home. Universal Studios have strollers for rent at S$10. But the theme park is only a small part of your holiday, right? How about the rest of your trip? It would be very tiring to carry your child most of the time. He can nap in the stroller if tired. Trust me, bring along a stroller for your holiday! :-)

Don't laugh but I have a 6 year old girl and I also plan to take a light stroller with us. While I know that she will be a trooper during our trip, she will definitely tire out at one point or another. At least while she's ok walking, I can use the stroller to push all the shopping bags. :-)

I picked up this helpful tip in another tripadvisor forum when we were planning for a trip years back. Pack a large plastic bag (enough to cover the stroller) in your stroller's compartment. It comes in handy when it rains. We hang our bags at the back of the stroller, cover the hood of the stroller including the back portion with plastic and everything stays dry. When we have to queue for a ride in amusement parks, we park our stroller together with our bag on it(no valuables, only the kiddie bag) and cover it with plastic when it looks like it's going to pour. Have been doing this every time we travel. :-)

Hi

Definitely take your stroller from home. It was my saviour last year for my then 3.5yo.

Going later this year and he will be almost 5 and I am still taking it again. They get very hot and tired and it is too much for them to walk around all day and totally agreeing with a previous post, it is always handy for the shopping bags!

Why not rent one for your stay in Singapore?

I have not tried it myself, so hopefully others can share their experiences in this area.
