Hello,

I just glanced through it. Is there a particular reason you want to spend time at the Armenian Church. I walked in just because I was heading that way and thought I may as well. Took 2 minutes to look inside. Not a lot to see really.

In that same City Hall area - If you are interested in churches then St Andrews Cathedral may be more interesting. The Peranakan Museum is small, but lovely. Plus, the Asian Civilisations Museum is excellent.

Also, across the road from Maxwell Road Foodcentre is the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Lovely place.

For Day 1, I would personally do the river trip first. Food places are open and run until later than the boat trip - so if there are any delays that's the better way round.

For Day 3 that isn't enough time to do the zoo properly in my opinion - the 9-1.30 itinerary that the zoo themselves give only covers about half the park for example. SO I suggest that you may want to spend more time there. Simply dropping the idea of a hard time slot and work so Chinatown is simply done once you are done with the zoo gives the ultimate flexibility in terms of doing both things that you want and lets you spend whatever time works best for you at the zoo whether you finish early or later than planned.

Hello 1travelbugT,

Your itinerary is doable but maybe you could tweak it some.

Day 1 instead of Maxwell, I would suggest you visit Chinatown Food Street. The Food Street has just re-opened after extensive renovation. Maxwell is a bit quiet at night especially when some stalls have already closed for the day.

Day 2, I would suggest visiting the Botanic Gardens earlier than 10 am so that you would have made some headway before the heat gets to you. The Orchid Garden (inside the Botanic Gardens) opens at 8:30am and by the time you finish with both gardens the malls at Orchard will have open. Just nice for you to wander down Tanglin into Orchard for lunch and foot spa.

Clarke Quay is a short walk from Hill Street where the Armenian Church is. Even if you decide to follow Avanti's advice and visit the Asian Civilisation Museum, it is still quite near to Ckarke Quay. Alternatively, you can have dinner at Lau Pa Sat which imo, will have open by the time you are here.

Day 4. Dinner at VivoCity?

Day 5 I would visit Little India in the morning before going to Arab Street/ Haji Lane. The shops at Haji Lane open at around 11am while the Kampung Glam area only comes to live in the evenings. You can have your pick of places to dine too. There are the very popular the BluJaz Cafe, Koi Bangers+ Izakaya, I am, and other cuisine including Mediterranean, Swedish, Vietnamese and many others.

My $0.02. Hope this helps.

Day 3 is extremely packed! Leave alone getting rest, you wont be able to finish as planned.Singapore zoo is far off and takes 1 hr to commute one way.

Day 2: If you are into modern art, check out the singapore arts museum (SAM) instead, a ticket lets you into 2 museums (SAM and SAM 8Q), I just visited SAM today, and the current exhibits are the best I've seen from them.

Day 3: When you are at Marina Bay Sands, check out the free light show at 8pm and 9.30pm (adventureswithfamily.com/marina-bay-sands-li…).

If you are into music, visit esplande outdoor theatre on friday nights for free performances and a great view of the city skyline (check website for band/act playing and timings: http://www.esplanade.com.sg/whats_on/). Eat at the gluttons bay for relatively cheap local hawker food (esplanade.com.sg/eat_drink_shop/…index.jsp).

I thought it would be a good idea to stay at legoland Malaysia but now realise it is a fair distance from anything. I want to go to the zoo and the botanical gardens. Could anyone help me plan my itinary. Thank you.
