Argentina in a week

My husband and I have a little more than a week vacation in April. We've wanted to visit argentina, mainly for the food and wine!!! I know a week is a short period of time but we really want to make it work. We would definitely fly into buenos aires and stay there. Is there any other place we could visit in argentina from buenos aires that would be possible being there such a short time. Is Mendoza a crazy option since we'd have to fly? Also would we run out of things to do if we stayed in buenos aires for the whole time? I am trying to plan and need some suggestions. Thank you!!

If you enjoy food and wine and don't mind the cost of the airflight to Mendoza then that is an excellent option for 3 days. You can put together a nice wine tasting paired with a food extravaganza for your entire stay.

Have a look at places such as Cavas Wine Lodge for an excellent stay.

Buenos Aires can entertain you for 7 days easily. Also, there are some sidetrips such as to Uruguay to experience some of their wineries.

Thank you! I wasn't sure it it would be too much to fly to Mendoza and back to buenos aires if we are there for like 8 days. I usually like to see more of just one place when I travel but also want the trip to still be relaxing. I guess it depends also on the flight costs. Thanks
