3 Days in Argentina

Planning a 2 week trip to SA for the first time with my husband and 13 year kid. Any recommendations for things to do in Argentina and a good safe place to stay. Any suggestions for reliable tour companies would also be appreciated. We are trying to gather a plan for RDJ, Amazon forest, Iguazu falls Argentina, Chile and Peru .

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Does the 3 days include your visit to Iguazu? If so, then you should plan on all 3 days for both sides of the Falls.

If you are asking about 3 more days then your best option is 3 days in Buenos Aires. Three days is just enough time to see the highlights of Buenos Aires, however since it is a major airline hub then it will be easier to move on to your next destination.

Thanks for the reply !we are planning to see Iguazu falls from Brazil side only. Reviews says it is better view. You think 3 nights should be more than enough . Any particular tour companies you would recommend?

If you are visiting only the Brazilian side of the Falls then one day is more than enough for a visit. The visitor park area is quite small and is focused towards the views. There is an optional birdsanctuary which is located near the reception area which is work a visit. Also, a visit to the Itaipu Dam is work sometime.

The Argentine side requires more time since the visit is more up close and personal. There are a number of walkways which require more time.

The visit to both parks have been designed for independent viewing. Walkways are clearly marked and easy to navigate. Tours are offered in the reception areas of both parks for the boat rides, etc.
