LAN Airfares difference

Hi, I noticed that airfares are way dfferent if you select chile as your country. I've read in previous posts that this fares are not only for residents, so can I bought this tickets in my country but using the chile website?

Thanks

I did it whithout any inconvenience. What is the idea of charging more if you use another country?

For some reason, LAN only offers the cheapest fare buckets for Chile domestic flights on their Chile website. No word from LAN on why that is and they try to make it sound like a no-no to buy them by posting a no-teeth false warning that they can only be sold in Chile (and where is their website located?).

Probably because they are competing for the domestic market with Sky. Not many foreigners know about Sky, or just buy onward flights with LAN or partners.
