The W is in the better location. Aside from its own restaurants, it on a street with many others. Neither hotel is near the historical centre of town and you need to use the metro system or taxis.

Sheraton Four Points is closer to the subway, only half a block from Providencia Ave. However, if youre looking for a more upscale hotel, then the W or San Cristobal Tower are your best bets. Between these 2, the W is better located for walking distance restaurants and shops.

Right beside the hotel, at lower ground level, is Coquinaria. It is a deli/café/restaurant which does good salads and various other lunch dishes. Excellent for brunch too, as well as an early dinner if you don't want to dine too late.. It is open until 11 pm on weekdays and Saturdays and 9.30 pm on Sunday.
