Parents travelling with kid

Other than the kid's birth certificate and passport, anything else I may be asked for while entering/leaving the country?

Tourists aren't usually asked for the birth certificate but bring it anyway. Each passenger will fill in a tourist card on the plane, just name/flight/passport # etc. They take the top copy when you enter Chile and you need to keep the copy to turn in when you leave. Before you go through passport control you need to pay the reciprocity fees (if you carry USA, Canadian, Australian passports) at the desks on the same level as passport control, do a U-turn after going down the escalator.
