You will only know if it is adequate after the event! It sounds a long time. Most airports publish a Minimum Connection Time (MCT).
A lot depends on how quickly the bags appear on the luggage reclaim carousel; how many people are in the queue ahead of you for Immigration; when checkin closes for the Cordoba flight.
Are both flights booked on one ticket or separately?
If it is one ticket and the same airline, or two with an agreement, you can have your bags tagged all the way through to Cordoba. In that case, providing your first flight is not much delayed, you should have time. You would head for the transit lounge and find your gate. If that isn't the case, then you don't have nearly enough time.
I assume NYC-SCL non-stop is LAN and SCL-COR is also LAN? Then you can check them thru and just stay in transit at SCL which should be enough time if not delayed.
Yeah if your first leg is not delayed.. I was stuck in SCL recently (LAN delayed for five hours due to some 'leaking' problem, sounds scary right?) and missed the connection in Sydney.. but they put u to the next available flight.. so all still good.. it was a midnight flight so getting stuck in the in SCL airport till the wee hours is no fun.. we have already boarded and nicely seated in the plane when they asked us to disembark and we sleepily obliged with almost everyone taking with them the plane blanket and pillow.. lol..
