Suggestions for Language Schools

I'll be in Peru later this year and want to study Spanish for a week or two.

Undecided if in Lima or Cuzco. Suggestions and comments are welcome.

Thanks

Peter

there are plenty language schools that offer spanish lessons and there are also in the "el comercio" inserates of private teachers that offer spanish lessons.

usually the language schools are way more expensive then the private professors, and have higher prices.

private teachers also will come to your house to teach, which some language schools offer for a steep price raise.

A great private tutor is a good idea for an hour or so a day to focus on your weaknesses and get a lot of conversation time...

The big advantage of a class is that it's very hard to stay focused 1 on 1 for more than a couple of hours a day, and just being involved for twice as long every day helps things sink in.

Do both.

As stated above, language schools are much more expensive than private tutor, but you will get the certainty of having some one who knows what's doing. A private tutor is not alwas as experienced as the ones working at any of the schools. I recommended some one on this site to check these schools:

www.mundoverdespanish.com

www.amautaspanishschool.com

www.cuscospanishschool.com

I also recommended Alberto, a greta private Spanish tutor, his email is osezno16@yahoo.com
