Lima Airport: Domestic arrival to International Terminal?

Arriving Lima from Cusco on LAN Airlines, departing on an international flight on United Airlines from Lima to Houston. Is it easy to get from domestic arrivals to International check-in?

Becasue LAN and United are not partners, we'll have to retrieve our luggage at LIM from our LAN, Cusco flight, then go to the United check-in counter to check in for our United flight to Houston.

Is getting from the LAN domestic baggage carrousel over to International check-in with United easy to get too?

Thanks!

Very easy, the airport is very small, when arriving from Cusco and leaving the luggage area just turn to the right and walk to the international departures.

You can go with your airport luggage cart to the United Airlines Counter.

If you are arriving before the check in time, the United Counter will not be signaled, at least the last time I travelled the counters were only signaled at check in

Hope this helps you

Easy. I recommend to have your international ticket in hand, and you can show it to various airport personnel and they will point you in the right direction, seeing you with your luggage. Some of the turns can be a bit confusing.

Assuming you are there early, after you deposit luggage you can have some delicious but expensive ice cream upstairs in the food court at 4-D.
