Weather in the Cook Islands in August

Is August a good time to go to the Cook Islands? I saw that the temperature is a bit lower then, but am wondering about it as a honeymoon destination the last two weeks of August. Thanks in advance.

Any time is a good time to go to the Cooks! LOL. I loved August - nice warm, dry days, lovely cool nights. Perfect! The water is cooler but certainly not cold (I'm from Canada, I know cold).

I think you'd be very happy here in August.

Cheers,

Hi there,

The weather in August is a bit cooler as it is their winter. This is not to say it is cold by any means!

Check out historical weather patterns, rainfall measures, temps etc at: www.weatherbase.com

I agree, anytime is a great time in the Cooks!

You will find the island of Aitutaki to be warmer than Rarotonga this time of year.

sunny regards,

shully
